Hello lovely people! I hope you all had the most amazing week! I wanted to share this super cute holiday look with you for some holiday party inspiration! This sweater from Nordstrom is so cozy and I am wearing an XS for reference! This sweater is true to size and so comfortable! Even though it’s sold out, I linked some other cute styles! I thought that it would be so fun tucked into a tulle skirt because tulle skirts are the ultimate girly glam style option for any holiday party! Charlotte Russe has the exact one that I’m wearing AND it’s only $15 y’all!! Talk about a total steal!!The holidays scream parties lol and this outfit is a cute option for your next holiday get together!
If you all don’t mind, I’m going to get personal for a little real quick. As most of you probably know, I love fashion and I also love to express myself through dressing up! But behind these cute clothes and accessories is a girl who constantly self conscious and constantly worrying about how she looks. I may have mentioned in a previous post of mine that I have been blogging for about 2 years off and on. I never started putting pictures of myself on this blog until very recently due to the fact that I am so scared that someone will make fun of messy hair, my large nose, or my super skinny frame. I was referred to as the “ugly friend” more often than not all through high school and college and boys never so much as even spoke to me. It put me in the worst possible place at the time, and it’s been so hard to let go of those horrible memories. I spend very high amounts of money on the way that I look from my hair to the clothes that I wear. My self-consciousness has led to my diagnosis of anxiety and I tend to have very dark days where I won’t even leave the house because I can’t stop crying. It’s sometimes so hard to accept who you are when all you see is your flaws and it was really weighing on my heart to share with you all about my struggles with my self-image and just to let those of you know who are struggling with the same or similar issues that you aren’t alone.
So while reading this, you may be thinking, why in the world are you sharing this??? Well, I have an answer to that question if you’re wondering. One of the reasons I started this blog was to let girls around the world know that they are beautiful and that they are so special despite what others say or think about them. You have the power to be the most BE.YOU.TIFUL you! You were placed on this Earth for the most amazing purpose and that you are the most incredible person! I am sharing this story with you all today in the hope that someone reads this and it can inspire them to be the brightest person that they can be. Please know that you are the only you that you can be and that is the most amazing thing! You might think you’re not good enough, but the truth is, YOU ARE!!!!! YOU ARE AMAZING, DON’T FORGET THAT!!!!!
I hope that you all enjoyed this post and as always feel free to comment or reach out to me! I would love to hear from you all! Do you all want more personal posts like this one??! Let me know if you do! In that case, I will be talking to you all very soon, have a fantastic weekend!!! Kisses!
